I was inspired to start this blog with the encouragement of family and friends.  My goal is that you continue to return to read post about a variety of topics to include: fashion, business, financial management, mindfulness techniques, and real-life experiences from me that I hope will inspire\u2026encourage\u2026empower\u2026educate\u2026and\/or motivate you on some level.  We are all at various phases in our lives and one thing that I am certain about is this\u2026 IT\u2019S OKAY! <\/span><\/p>\n

(Live\u2026Love\u2026and Laugh.  Regardless of the obstacles you may face\u2026remember to push through and don\u2019t think that you must mirror someone else\u2019s life to be GREAT\u2026 you are GREAT!  Cheers to all my Kings, Queens, Princes, and Princesses.)<\/span><\/p>\n

Some random things about me\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/span><\/span>       <\/span><\/span>I prefer to be called by my born name:  Fontashia (excluding a few family members and a friend or two)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2.<\/span><\/span>       <\/span><\/span>I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3.<\/span><\/span>       <\/span><\/span>I also lived in the Bronx (NY), Delaware, Virginia Beach (VA), and Iwakuni, Japan<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4.<\/span><\/span>       <\/span><\/span>I have four handsome young men (my princes)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

5.<\/span><\/span>       <\/span><\/span>I had one miscarriage and two stillborn\u2019s (My Angels\u2026SIP- Delashia and Darius)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

6.<\/span><\/span>       <\/span><\/span>I am married to my best friend (we have been through a lot but remain united and strong)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

7.<\/span><\/span>       <\/span><\/span>My favorite color is purple<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

8.<\/span><\/span>       <\/span><\/span>I have females that I consider to be best friends, but they are more like my sisters<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

9.<\/span><\/span>       <\/span><\/span>I love my mother <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

10.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>When I was in 4<\/span><\/span>th<\/sup><\/span><\/span> grade, my favorite teacher Mr. Petit (I don\u2019t think I spelt it properly, lol) inspired me to be a teacher<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

11.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>When I was in 4<\/span><\/span>th<\/sup><\/span><\/span> grade, I said that I would be married with four kids\u2026and it actually happened many moons later, lol<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

12.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I have over 17 year\u2019s experience in customer service, business, financial management, and recently began my mindfulness journey<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

13.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I finally got my Bachelor\u2019s degree in 2015 after starting and stopping because I was too busy being a mom and wife\u2026I then got my Masters in 2017, but hey\u2026its never too late<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

14.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I am obsessed with considering myself to be a beautiful chocolate Queen<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

15.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I love cooking and get offended when people consider my husband to be the \u201ccook\u201d in our household\u2026ummm, he is a \u201cGrill Master\u201d, lol Thank you\u2026substantial difference!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

16.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I like taking trips to get a peace of mind and explore\u2026. alone, with my husband or in groups (I guess that\u2019s the Sagittarius in me)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

17.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>Oh, yeah\u2026I\u2019m a Sagittarius\u2026the best sign there is\u2026lol I\u2019m joking all the other signs are cool too (we are just first in line\u2026even though we end the year, kind of\u2026 lol)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

18.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I teach at an alternative high school (built for special people\u2026and we love it\u2026)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

19.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>People say I have flirtatious eyes\u2026but idk<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

20.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I\u2019ve visited a few countries\/cities\/places\/etc. to include- Japan, South Korea, Italy, Thailand, Bahrain, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, the Virgin Islands\u2026and a few more but I\u2019m kind of drawing a blank at the moment\u2026<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

21.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I only speak English for now\u2026 I\u2019ve tried to learn other languages, but I realized that I will leave that for the people who truly have the patience to learn other languages\u2026lol<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

22.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I volunteer for a financial counseling and teaching organization and am inspired by the people I encounter<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

23.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I recently started to pursue my love and dream of shoes (2016 to be exact) and hope to have a collection of my own soon<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

24.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I hate couponing because it takes a lot of time and patience\u2026but I secretly want to learn because the deals and savings seem to be worth it<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

25.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I like to talk\u2026and I like for people to listen, lol<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

26.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I\u2019m very observant when first meeting someone (I\u2019m a self-proclaimed people reader, lol)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

27.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I have great family and friends and keep my circle small (I love my father, stepdad, stepbrother and sister\u2026there\u2019s no order to this list by the way)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

28.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I\u2019m okay with releasing negative energy\u2026that includes people and things <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

29.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I\u2019ve accepted the person that I am and the woman that I have grown into\u2026I still have a few moments of self-reflection but that\u2019s life<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

30.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I have a lot of tattoos\u2026I keep saying I\u2019m going to stop and then the next year I think of another idea to add to my collection (collage on my body)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

31.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I like flowers and plants but have a tough time keeping them alive (I\u2019m getting better\u2026lol)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

32.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I\u2019m 5\u20192\u201d and over 180 pounds (don\u2019t judge me…this page isn\u2019t for judgment)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

33.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I love a good steak and potato<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

34.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I like to dance<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

35.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I like singing and went to school for singing and dancing once upon a time\u2026but life made a detour and my dreams changed<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

36.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>My husband and I got married May of 2004, but the wedding was planned for October 2004 and since everyone was already planning and deposits had been made we kept the date and didn\u2019t tell anyone the truth until 2013 or 2014\u2026I can\u2019t remember the exact year, but my mom was mad<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

37.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>I like planning\u2026I wonder if that should have been a profession at some point in my life<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

38.<\/span><\/span>   <\/span><\/span>Sometimes I feel like I should have been a lawyer (for a few reasons) but I didn\u2019t want to go to school for it or take a test<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

39.<\/span><\/span>       <\/span><\/span>I\u2019m never the life of the party but I like to have a good time (at any party) and enjoy what life has to offer<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

40.<\/span><\/span>       <\/span><\/span>I\u2019m not a fan of taking pictures of myself but don\u2019t mind taking pictures of things\/others (that may have a little to do with a few flaws, but we will discuss that within the \u201cOpen Book\u201d tab)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

41.<\/span><\/span>       <\/span><\/span>I take pride in being a mom and I love my children unconditionally<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

42.<\/span><\/span>       <\/span><\/span>When I love\u2026I love hard<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
